Dear Mr. Murphy :
The Secretary of State has asked me to send
you for your information copies of the statement
with respect to projected U.S. aid to North
Atlantic Treaty countries in 1953 and 1954, as
it was approved by the President last evening
for guidance of witnesses testifying on the
foreign aid legislation. I attach two copies.
