Thanks for message. Ike plans to arrive Washington
morning November first. I will have a chance to talk to him
personally later this week, as he is returning to Paris from
Scotland before my departure for Washington on Saturday. He
feels that it would make things easier for him if announcement
of his visit is withheld until about the time of his departure from
Paris noon October 30-first Washington time.
