MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
At 8:50 AM each day, the Air Force will
conduct briefings in its Air Room on the mili-
tary situation of the previous 24 hours in the
Far Pacific for the civilian heads of the
Department of the Air Force and the principal
Air Staff officers.
In order that I may keep posted on the
air situation, in the event that I may be of
assistance to the President, I will attend these
briefings, the first of which was held today.
