MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
Subject: Dutch proposals and Indonesian counter
proposals concerning possible interim
regime in Indonesia.
With reference to our conversation on June 16
on Indonesia, there are attached copies of telegrams
which have gone to The Hague and Batavia. You will
note that an offer of "good offices" is not being
made.
