SECURITY INFORMATION
Dear Mr. President:
You will remember that some time ago I wrote
you about the Colonial question and its crucial
importance in this part of the world. I very much
appreciated your comments on this and found myself
in complete agreement with them.
As I promised in that letter I have tried to
put forward some specifie ideas which you might want
to consider. I have prepared it in the form of a
letter to Dean Acheson, and send you a copy of that
herewith. I do hope you will have a chance to talk
with him about it and that something will come of it.
