my dear M President,
The Ambassador of the United States in New Delhi
handed me today an album of photographs taken during my
visit to the United States. I am very grateful to you,
Mr President, for this beautiful souvenir of my visit.
The photographs are excellent and have been very well selected
to convey some idea of the various functions I attended and
the places I visited in the United States. I shall value
this souvenir very greatly and it will remind me of the friend-
ship and hospitality which met me everywhere in the United
States.
To you, Mr President, I have again to express my
deep gratitude both for your gracious and friendly welcome
to me and for this lovely gift which I shall treasure.
With esteem and all good wishes for the New Year,
