Annunziata. We are informed that American
Relief for Italy was the first organization
on the ground with relief supplies.
In these reports the initials ARI stand
for American Relief for Italy; ENDSI stand
for the Italian equivalent of National Com-
mittee for Distribution of Relief in Italy,
the organization which was created in Rome
to distribute the relief materials provided
by ARI.
Perhaps the President might be interested
to examine these documents; and with best
