MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
SUBJECT: Flight of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the
United States
On Thursday, April 27th, at I PM we will depart in
the Independence. The route will be via Stephenville, with
arrival in Paris the following morning at 10 AM Paris time.
We will remain there until Sunday, April 30th, at which time
we will proceed to London Municipal Airport, arriving in the
afternoon.
The flight back provides for an overnight stop at
either Iceland, Goose Bay, or Stephenville. In either case, the
departure time from London is planned for 3 PM the afternoon of
May 2d, arriving at Washington National Airport at 4 PM, May 3d.
Mr. Bill Hassett and General Harry Vaughan are making
the flight over and back on an unofficial status.
