Dear Rabbi Wise:
Thanks very much for your letter of
the seventh. I am enclosing you copy
of a letter which I have just sent to
Senator Walter George of Georgia. It
also is a confidential document.
I appreciated the last paragraph in
your letter and you can always rest
assured that the President of the United
States is not in the habit of making
public, personal communications - that
seems to be a habit of people with whom
the President corresponds, however.
