Sunflowel August 2, 1946 Dear Ed: I appreciated yours of July thirtieth, enclosing me a memorandum from Bernard A. Rosenblatt. It follows the usual line. of course, the British control Palestine and there is no way of getting One Hundred Thousand Jews in there unless they want them in. I have done my best to get them in but I don't believe there is any possible way of pleasing our Jewish friends. Sincerely yours, HARRY S. TRUMAN Honorable Edward J. Flynn 60 East 42nd Street New York, New York
