Such transactions will be declared invalid.\n(Netherlands News Digest, vol. 12, No. 1, March 15, 1945)\nItaly\nA Royal Decree was published in Gazetta Ufficiale del\nRegno d'Italia, Rome, October 20, 1944, Anno 85°, No. 71,\nabrogating all previous anti-Jewish laws pertaining to property\nrights. The Decree further stipulates that all Jewish citizens\nand those citizens considered to be of the Jewish race1 are to\nenjoy fully all property rights. Article 3 of this Decree pro-\nvides that \"within one year of the conclusion of peace those\nwho had transferred real property to the ENTE (Office of Prop-\nerty Management which, under the anti-Jewish law, took over\nJewish real property, ed.) and the legal representative of such\npersons are empowered to demand the return of the transferred\nproperty against the surrender of the certificates or bonds\npreviously given in repayment by the ENTE.\nArticle 6. \"In cases in which the ENTE may have trans-\nferred real property to third parties the latter are bound\nto surrender the property to the former owners or their\n1.
