April 10, 1946
My dear Mr. President:
I refer to your letter of April 4,
1946 and I hasten to assure you of my
appreciation of the sympathetic and gen-
erous spirit you expressed therein.
I wish to state that the ₽500 note
was sent to you pursuant to cabled in-
structions from President Osmena and is
in accord with the practice followed in
the past regarding the disposition of the
first ten lowest numbers of new denomina-
tions of Philippine Treasury Certificates,
Victory Series.
