MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT
Subject: Resolutions of Provincial Board of Bulacan and
Municipal Council of Batangas, Philippines.
In accordance with a request of September 18, 1946 from the
Ambassador of the Philippines, I enclose Resolution No. 318 of the
Provincial Board of Bulacan, Philippines, and Resolution No. 2 of
the Municipal Council of Batangas, Batangas, Philippines, expressing
the gratitude of those bodies to the Government and people of the
United States for the grant of independence to the Philippines on
July 4, 1946.
