TEHERAN (Grady)
TO
THE SECRETARY OF STATE
Several thousand persons demonstrated in front of
Embassy this afternoon demanding "peace" and calling upon the
United States to "stop aggression in Korea." Demonstrators,
who were entirely orderly and well disciplined, were well
equipped with large posters attacking the United States and
with peace doves upon arm bands. Upon leaving the vicinity
of Embassy, demonstrators marched Majlis Square.
