Dear Mr. Ambassador:
I appreciated very much your letter of the
sixteenth and I am very happy that the
President enjoyed his visit here. We cer-
tainly enjoyed having him and I was most
happy when he arrived safely at Maiquetia.
Thanks very much for the memoranda on
Venezuela and Peru. I appreciate them
very highly.
