MEMORANDUM FOR ADMIRAL LEAHY
There are enclosed herewith for the President's
files the originals of five memoranda prepared by
Mr. Bohlen covering a series of meetings held by the
President during the period April 20 to April 23 with
regard to Mr. Molotov's visit and our policies vis-a-
vis the Soviet Union.
As soon as they are completed, I shall send you
four further memoranda having to do with Mr. Molotov's
conversations here with the Secretary of State.
