RESTRICTED In regard to possible East-West negotiation, the French LE FIGARO writes that it is easy to understand that Churchill wants to take part in any future meeting between Eisenhower and Stalin but that such a meeting cannot take place before a serious preliminary study of its chances for success. Discord and Aggression: While Moscow has not commented on the visit in voice broadcasts, a news agency dispatch declares that serious Anglo-American differences over British participation in the Pacific pact will be discussed. Budapest radio treats the Churchill visit and the McCarran Immigration Act in a satiric vein; it notes that the "bloodhound FBI officials did not trouble Mr. Churchill," not because they trusted him but because he was too busy. In typical Communist rhetoric, Radio Budapest also observes that Churchill hurried to meet "his boss Eisenhower." According to the Free Greece radio the dis- cussions included plans for an expansion of the aggressive Athens- Belgrade-Ankara alliance. RESTRICTED
