Apartment 15-A 29 Waubington Square, West New York Gity 11 May 16, 1947 Dear Mr. President: Because of the various things I have heard, I am sending you this note. I know that it was my husband's wish and intention that all of his papers should eventually be in the Library at Hyde Park. He particularly did not want them left in the Archives in Washington or in the Library of Congress because he felt that con- centration in one place was very unwise. He also felt that they would be more available to historians in the library at Hyõe Park and I am sure they will be. Ps. I hope you will not mind my telling you this, but I feel 80 strongly that in this one particular I would like to see his wishes carried out, that I am expressing what I have heard my husband say over and over again. Very cordially yours, Then Trushult
