NAVY
n. USS VALLEY FORGE (CV) and HMS TRIUMPH (CVL), with

lations and troop concentrations in west and southwest Korea on 25 July.

O. Call fire missions were performed by USS DEHAVEN (DD) and
USS SWENSON (DD) in the vicinity of Yongdok 24 July (KT) on enemy strong
points, troops, tanks, and supply concentrations. Shore fire control party
reported heavy casualties inflicted. (ONI) (SECRET)
po ROK naval vessels have been deployed along the south and
southwest coastline of Korea to provide close inshore surveillance from the
Kunsan sector south, and to prevent small-craft logistic support of the enemy
in that area. (ONI) (SECRET)
