PR SUMMARY
Washington, D. C.
June 24, 1945
10:35am EDMONDS (Phon.) to PRICHARD. PRICHARD asked why he didn't call
last night. EDMONDS said he did about 6:00 P.M. last night.
PRICHARD said he was still in the office at that time. EDMONDS
said the switchboard operator told him that there was no answer
when he called. PRICHARD said then it was around 7:00 P.M.
PRICHARD asked what he did. EDMONDS said he did all right, went
to the Del Rio. PRICHARD asked if it was a double feature. Yes,
Del Rio both times. EDMONDS said he was going to see the Old Man
today. PRICHARD said he is going to Virginia about 2:00 P.M.
EDMONDS asked if he could do something for him like he was saying
the other night. PRICHARD said he could, told him to speak to
his "old man" and then let him know. EDMONDS said he would speak
to the old man and advise him. O.K.
