CO SUMMARY Washington, D. C. June 19, 1945 8:15am CORCORAN to BOB saying LEO was "pretty punch drunk these days" and "they're giving it to him" quite heavily. CORCORAN wants BOB to see LEO. 9:50am MR. WRIGHT to NA 4882 for MISS KIRKPATRICK. He told her that a hearing started yesterday known as the Joint Judiciary Committee of both houses. He asks her to get a transcript of the proceed- ings of yesterday. He said not to use CORCORAN'S name in re- questing the transcript, and she replied that she would use "our" name. He's attending the morning session and will look at the copy she gets when he sees her about noon. 10:05am MR. WALLACE to YOUNGMAN who was out. He also asked for CORCORAN who hadn't come in yet. He asked that CORCORAN call him at RE 7500, Ext. 5205. 10:12am CORCORAN to Library of Congress, Ext. 248, for IRVING BRANT. Man will deliver message to BRANT for him to call CORCORAN. 10:20am CHARLES MERKUS (Phon.) to CORCORAN. Former asked if he could come over to see latter. O.K. 10:45am DAVE CORCORAN in New York to TOM CORCORAN talking about jeeps and said he saw an article in the World-Telegram of June 18 about a survey made by University of Washington. TOM will get this report. TOM said he saw DWIGHT PALMER and latter thinks DAVE is "swell." Also, said TOM, he had talked with LEO (CROWLEY?) who told TOM he can line up things for DAVE and TOM. They discuss a five year contract DAVE might take with STERLING and TOM feels this would be unfair to RAY-E-VAC (Phon.) if "DAVE's plans carry. They discuss foreign markets (in South America). DAVE asked if TOM knew RAY-E-VAC well enough to tell them the CORCORAN plans and TOM said he believed so. 10:55am MISS ANDERSON in office of Assistant Attorney General TOM CLARK, to MISS DeFALCO to ask whether CORCORAN still planned a luncheon date today with CLARK at 1:30 P.M. She said CORCORAN will come to CLARK'S office and at 12:45 they will lunch at either the Statler or Carlton Hotel. 10:58am MISS ANDERSON to MISS DeFALCO saying that CLARK said that if the menu is good at the Justice Department, they will eat there. 0.
