That's about all I know about him.\nC--Ah, that means he's a pretty smart cookie.\nP--Yeah! Oh, I've always had a very good impression of his\nability, Tom.\nC--Yeah! What was his relationship to STONE over there, do you\nknow?\nP--To STONE? KEITH (Phon.) STONE? I didn't know he had any.\nI don't know.\nC--They broke away, somewhere. I'd say he's a fellow around thirty.\nC--Well, he's in your group, then.\nP--That's right.\nC--Ummm! Ahhh! Do you think he's the kind of a fellow before\nI take on something, before I decide to take on something,\nthis is for CLAUDE (PEPPER) how, is he the kind of a fellow\nthat can add, subtract, multiply and divide?\nP--That can?\nC--Yeah!\np--on! Yes! Does CLAUDE- is this something that CLAUDE wants\nto get done in OPA or something he wants his committee to\ndo?\nC--No, it's one of these eternal questions of adjustment, you\nknow, where\nP--He wants to get somebody's price raised.\nC--Well, where they're gonna raise subsidiary price under these\npeople and that will wipe out the profit margin. But I\nmean, what I'm wondering about is whether LINDERMAN is the\nkind of a fellow who understands who will understand---\nthese inter-relationships and furthermore, do something\nabout them."
