Since the end of price control, the cost of
living has increased 4 times as much as it did when
we had real price control.
I don't know what kind of clothes Senator Taft
wears, but clothing bills for all the rest of us have
gone through the roof since he took the lead in kill-
ing O.P.A.
You know, the Republican Party will never put on
price controls, because their Big Business bosses do
not want them.
High prices are too profitable.
That's why the Republican 80th Congress refused to
take any effective action against high prices.
The American people know that the only way to get
prices controlled is to elect a Democratic President
