s BARK "NATIONAL LIMA, OHIO - 3 - ARCHIVES AND RECORDS SERVICE" That same Congress took social security away from more than three quarters of a million workers. It did a lot more. It passed the Taft-Hartley Act, and a rich man's tax bill. It knocked the props out from under Farm Price supports. If the Republicans win this election, there's not one chance in a thousand that the next Congress would undo the damage the 80th Congress has done, or that it would have any more concern for the welfare of the people. That is because the same Republican leaders who controlled the 80th Congress would be in the saddle in the 81st Congress. And that is because the Republican candidate for President has put his seal of approval on the record of the 80th Congress.
