1. Weather:
Clear to scattered becoming overcast low and middle clouds. Visi-
bility three to five miles in haze and rain. Temperatures 50 to 81 de-
grees F. Forecast: Overcast high with broken middle and low clouds.
Visibility one to three miles in haze and fog lifting during the period.

2. Enemy Situation:
Enemy groups of company to battalion size continued to oppose
friendly advances on the flanks, while light resistance met UN patrols
in the central sectors. Vehicle sightings during the period totalled
1, 335, 890 moving south. An increasing number of enemy supply dumps
in forward areas was reported, as well as the appearance of smoke gener-
ators along the Singye - Tonchon corridor. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND
a. General: 1st ROK Division units completed their limited
objective attack, reaching positions fifteen miles northwest of Seoul, then
pulling back to patrol bases twelve miles north of the city. Attacking ROK
divisions on the UN right flank secured new high ground positions and sent
a task force to Kansong, 25 miles north of the 38th parallel, on the coast.
Other UN forces continued aggressive patrolling against light resistance,
