1. Weather:
Overcast high and middle clouds and scattered to broken low clouds.
Visibility 2 to 5 miles in rain. Temperature 62 to 86 degrees F. Fore-
cast: Overcast high and middle clouds and broken low clouds becoming
scattered. Visibility 3 to 5 miles. Temperature 60 to 90 degrees F.

2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile groups continued to probe friendly positions near Kumhwa,
Sohwa, and east of the Pukhan River, without penetration. Resistance
was stubborn in the area south of Pyonggang early in the period. Air
observed 700 enemy moving south along the Ichon - Chorwon road.
Limited by poor visibility, sightings of enemy vehicles for the 2 days
totalled 2211, of which 1075 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND:
a. General: Friendly units continued patrolling across the
front and repulsed all enemy attacks. On 3 July, attacking elements
seized high ground positions 3 miles south of Pyonggang in the I Corps
