1. Weather:
Multilayer clouds with ceilings as low as 1000 feet preceded the passage
of a cold front. Visibility occasionally as low as 1 mile. Maximum temperature
30 degrees, minimum 15 degrees. Forecast: Clear with occasional low
scattered clouds over all Korea. Maximum temperature 25 degrees, minimum

2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile companies stubbornly resisted UN raiding patrols southwest of
Panmunjom and north of Chorwon, In other sectors, small enemy groups
continued to probe UN positions. The adjusted total of vehicle sightings for
5-6 February is 959, of which 590 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
ARMY:
a. General: A raiding patrol from the 1st ROK Division
was engaged with an enemy company southwest of Panmunjoro as the period
closed. Other UN groups continued to patrol and raid enemy positions
across the front, encountering groups up to company strength. (FECOM)
