Weather: High, low and scattered middle clouds, visibility restricted to 1 to 3 miles in haze, Maximum battle area temperature 48 degrees, mini- mum 32 degrees. Forecast: Multilayer clouds with ceilings as low as 1, 000 feet. Visibility restricted to 2 to 5 miles in rain. Twelve to eighteen hours rain expected. Maximum battle area temperature 52 degrees, minimum 32 degrees. (FEAF) (SECRET) 2. Enemy Situation: With the exception of three light probes in the I US Corps sector and two light probes in the I ROK Corps sector, infrequent patrol clashes charac- terized enemy action across the front. Some scattered light artillery fire fell across the front. The adjusted total of vehicle sightings for the period 19-20 March is 2,921, of which 2, 102 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET) 3. United Nations Situation: ARMY: a. General: UN forces continued to patrol across the front, meeting scattered resistance from enemy groups of squad and platoon strength. Five light probing attacks were repulsed. The 6th ROK Division passed to operational control of the IX US Corps effective 20 March.
