Although the material is largely confidential, re- stricted and unclassified articles (so designated) will frequently be included. The classification of the magazine as a whole remains confidential. Commanding officers of ships and shore activities on the REVIEW distribution list are authorized to circulate this publication among all commissioned and warrant officers of the Navy and Marine Corps under their command. The restricted and unclassified articles may be copied and given wider distribution, as appropriate. Security of the publication should be guarded in accordance with its classifica- tion: (1) by care in the circulation and custody of the REVIEW itself and (2) by avoiding discussion of its confidential material in the hearing of other than com- missioned and warrant officers of the United States Naval services. Old issues may be retained in the confidential files or destroyed. FELIX JOHNSON, Rear Admiral, U.S.N., Director of Naval Intelligence. Confidential 91
