WTD WTDR of November 14, 1950 states that this medium size corpora- Files tion was established in 1947. Lew Orne is managing director and owns 99.76% of the stock. Tcheng Ping Yeh, Deng Ze Ligh and Chek Man Lau own the remaining shares. All the partners are American-Chinese. The firm is an importer, distributor and agent handling diesel engines, auto parts, dyestuffs, textile specialties, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The firm acts as selling agents for Cummins Diesel Export Corporation, Columbus, Indiana; Borg-Warner International Corporation, Chicago, Illinois; E. F. Houghton & Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Airco Company International, New York City; Federal Paint Company, New York City and Clayton Manufacturing Company, El Monte, California. WTD Approximately 35% of its purchases are from the United States. Files The balance of the firm's purchases are from Germany. Local banks staie the concern is a satisfactory client. IS Cummins Diesel Export Corporation submitted an application far an File export license for one diesel marine engine to consignee, Far East 13-50-913 Trading Company, Hong Kong. Applicant stated the engine was to be installed in a Hong Kong sailing vessel. Upon inquiry the Consulate General reported it was satisfied that the engine would be used on the sailing vessel Yuen Sui-Ma. The licensing application was con- sequently approved on June 29, 1950. IS A second end use check was made in November 1950 on Far East Trading File Company in connection with the application of its New York branch to 13-50-1401 export merchandise to be used in repairing fishing boats. The Consulate General, Hong Kong, reported that Far East Trading Company, Hong Kong, was conscientiously distributing parts to local fishing vessels engaged in local waters only.
