Dear Martha Ann:
I appreciated very much your note of the first.
1 am glad that Dean Moreau told you that he is not
a died in the wool Republican. I think eventually
we will be able to convince the people of Kansas
that they do not belong with the old abolitionists
from whom they had their political ideas.
I am sending you a set of the United States Code
just as soon as I can get it ready.
1 had a nice visit with your mother and Dorothy
and had my first view of the new neice. She has
blue eyes and blond hair and looks like Martha Ann,
Margaret and Aunt Ella.
Sincerely yours,
Uncle Harry
