BARRY ES ARCHIVES "NATIONAL RECORDS THEIR AND THE
SERVICE"
GOVERNMENT
When the Republican leaders of the Congress
failed to act against inflation, they proved themselves blind
to the lessons of history.
The American people cannot afford to entrust
their future to men of such little vision.
The Bible warns us that where there is no vision
the people perish.
That is why I urge the election, on November second,
of a Democratic Congress and a Democratic President.
We must never again entrust our political destinies
to men who lack the will to safeguard our future
and our freedoms.
