Notes for stop at Mr. Dubinsky's Reviewing Stand on 7th Ave.
WARNY 8.5. & ARCHIVES "NATIONAL government SERVICE" RECORDS TRUMAN AND 1
I am deeply grateful for this wonderful turn-out.
I want to thank Mr. Dubinsky and all the members
of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union
for their support in the great fight we are now in.
I'm going to make a speech tonight at Madison Square
Garden. I don't see how in the world you'll all
get in, but I do hope you come, The speech will be an
important one that concerns not only you -
but all the people of the country.
Again, many thanks for this very warm reception.
Mrs. Truman, my daughter Margaret, and I will always
xexxebexxxxx remember it.
