    "ocrText": "-6-\nAr. Framingham, Mass.\n3:35 p.m.\nCommittee program 5 minutes - rear platform. President\nwill be introduced by\nLv. Framingham, Mass.\n3:40 p.m.\nAr. Boston, Mass\n4:35 p.m.\nOctober 27 being Navy Day, Mayor Curley has declared that\nsince the President is Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, this\nis to be official Navy Day celebration and the entire city of\nBoston will act as official reception committee.\nThe party will enter cars upon arrival and be transported to the\nHotel Statler arriving about 6:00. They will remain in their\nrooms until about 9:00 p.m. when they will re-enter their cars\nfor trip to Mechanics Hall where the President will speak at 9:30 p.m.\nCongressman J. W. McCormick will introduce the President. The\nspeech will be broadcast over CBS and also on Eastern television.\nFollowing the speech, the party will return to Hotel for the night,\nThursday, October 28, 1948\nAt 7:00 a.m. the President, Mr. Matthew Connelly, Mr. Eben Ayers,\nand Gen. Graham will enter an automobile caravan with State and\nCongressional Candidates for a motor trip to Providence, R.I.\nThe remainder of the party will stay in Boston and leave with\nthe train for Providence at 9:25 a.m.\nThere will be a breakfast at 7:45 for Mrs. Truman and Margaret\nto be given by the City of Boston. Neither Mrs. Truman nor\nMargaret will be expected to speak. All members of the party must\nbe aboard train by 9:15.\nThe following is the schedule of the motor trip:\nLv. Boston\n7:00 a.m.\nAr. Quincy\n7:20 a.m.\nThe President will be introduced by Mayor Chas. Ross (Rep.)\nLv. Quincy\n7:25 a.m.\nAr. Brockton\n7:55 a.m.\n10 minutes for committee program. The President\nwill be introduced by Mayor Joseph Downey. The\nPresident will be presented with a pair of shoes\nfor himself, Mrs. Truman, and Margaret by the Mayor.\nLv. Brockton\n8:05 a.m.\nAr. Taunton\n8:35 a.m.\n5 minutes for committee program. President will be\nintroduced by Mayor John H. Parker.\nLv. Taunton\n8:40 a.m.\nAr. Fall River\n9:20 a.m.\n15 minutes for committee program\nPresident will be introduced by Mayor Wm. P. Grant.\nHe will apeak at South Park.\nLv. Fall River\n9:35 a.m.\nAr. Warren, R.I.\n(State Line)\n10:00 a.m.\nNo program.\nMassachusetts Delegation will leave cavalcade here.\nThe following people will greet the President and\nmotor with him to Providence:\nSenator J.
