TAB "C" 762 COLLUNIST TRAINING PROGRAM This program was designed by General Marshall to assist his negotiations for peace between the Nationalist and Communist armies in China. The program called for the provision of training and specific items of equipment for whichever Communist armies were to be integrated in the Chinese Army Reorganization Program. In view of the decision to withdraw the Peiping Headquarters Group, mili- tary type items stockpiled for this program will be turned over to the Army Advisory Group for its use. Excess civilian type items will be declared to FLC, and, whenever possible, will be applied to the 8 1/3 Group Program after necessary coordination with AAG. DECLASSIFIED E.
