COLLUNIST TRAINING PROGRAM
This program was designed by General Marshall to
assist his negotiations for peace between the Nationalist
and Communist armies in China. The program called for the
provision of training and specific items of equipment
for whichever Communist armies were to be integrated in
the Chinese Army Reorganization Program. In view of the
decision to withdraw the Peiping Headquarters Group, mili-
tary type items stockpiled for this program will be turned
over to the Army Advisory Group for its use. Excess
civilian type items will be declared to FLC, and, whenever
possible, will be applied to the 8 1/3 Group Program
after necessary coordination with AAG.
