"The General Assembly shall, upon the initiative
of any of its members, or of the Security Council,
amend the Charter of the Organization by the
aff irmative vote of two-thirds of the member Statos.
The approved amendments shall come into force and
shall be compulsory upon all members of the Organi- -
zation after ratification in accordance with their
constitutional processes by e number equivalent to
two-thirds of the membership."
