HARRY e. ARCHIVES 'NATIONAL RECORDS TRUMAN AND LIBRARY
U.S.
SERVICE"
GOVERN NENT
Dear Ed:
Pursuant to your suggestion, I have had
checked the various Disney contracts and
find that the only ones in which the dis-
tribution fee is subordinated are those
included in our contract, dated Septem-
ber 20, 1940, covering THE RELUCTANT
DRAGON and BAMBI and our contract, dated
April 11, 1941, covering the "Mickey
Mouse" feature and DUMBO.
As for production, TOM, DICK & HARRY looks
mighty good, but there seems to be a dif-
ference of opinion within the company as
to whether production today is better than
it was six months ago. I personally feel
the trend is slightly upward - but perhaps
I am only optimistic.
With best wishes,
Sincerely yours,
Richard C. Patterson, Jr.
