Honorable Peter c. Ward
Administrative Assistant
Reconstruction Finance Corporation
Washington, D. c.
Dear Mr. Ward:
Confirming the telephone conversation
which my Secretary, Mr. Messall, had with you
yesterday afternoon, I wish to recommend Mr. W. C.
Boone of Cainesville, Missouri, to act as attorney,
on e fee basis, for the Reconstruction Finance
Corporation in Douglas Gounty, Missouri.
Mr. Boone has been an attorney in that
section of Missouri for many years and is well
qualified for the duties in connection with this
program.
I will appreciate your careful consider-
ation in his behalf.
Sincerely yours,
TALMAN,
Harry s. Truman
