Honorable Kenneth S. Patton
American Consul General
United States Consulate
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Dear Mr. Patton:
Miss Bianca Cheim, who lives at
15 Tintorettos Str., Amsterdam, wishes to
obtain a visa to come to the United States.
Miss Cheim is a refugee from
Spain, and has been supported by her rela-
tives in this country. I am informed that
all the people making affidavits in support
of the application for a visa are citizens
of excellent reputation and undoubted res-
ponsibility. There seems to be no doubt
but that she will be properly supported
upon her arrival in this country.
I will appreciate very highly any
consideration you may be able to give in
this matter.
Sincerely yours,
Harry S. Truman
and
