Washington, D. C.
November 20, 1937
Honorable Hopkins B. Shain
Kansas City Court of Appeals
Kansas City, Missouri
Dear Judge:
I will be pleased, of course, to
do anything I can to help your son, Matson H.
Shain, who is anxious to get located with
the Coal Commission.
They are having a great deal of
trouble over at that Commission right at the
present time, and I don't know just how far
we will get, for our friends over there may
get let out.
I will be glad to talk to Congress-
man Bell about the situation.
Sincerely yours,
TRUMAN
Harry S. Truman
