I am indebted to you for your letter of April
18th enclosing a copy of a letter under date of
March 24th addressed to you by Hon. Thomas H.
Bevan, Americal Consul General at Warsaw, Poland.
His letter explains very clearly the reason
for the difficulty with respect to obtaining a
visa for Miss Kalmeniches and is the first word we
have had by way of explanation.
