My dear Mr. Paul:
Mr. Truman and myself greatly appreciate your
interest; however, at the present time it is
very difficult to partake of any food, includ-
ing any of your various vegetables juices. The
attending doctors are progressing quite well
in the therapy of Mr. Truman, and he is reflect-
ing their wisdom.
I fully realize the seriousness of the situation;
however, at this time, he seems to be progress-
ing favorably.
