CH HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER
Kansas City, Missouri
TRUMAN, President Harry S.
Wallace H. Graham, M. D.
The patient was awakened this morning with generalized abdominal
cramps, being quite severe and a sudden onset of uncontrollable
diarrhea at approximately 12:30 to 1:00 a.m. prior to his hospital
admission. The cramping stopped. However, the diarrhea continued.
He has not complained of any pain or distress and he believes that
he has had a very slight temperature increase in the past 24 hours.
He has been extremely dizzy. However, this has been present to
some degree for the past 10 years.
At the present time he has considerable nausea and he has had
occasional vomiting. There is considerable borborygmus present
as noted in taking the history. Hyperperistalsis obviously
detectable.
