EXECUTIVE ORDER #9664 CONTINUING THE WORK OF THE FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE COMMITTEE By virtue of the authority vested in me by tho Constitution and statutes, it is heroby ordered as follows: The duties and responsibilitics imposed upon the TRUMARD NARA Committee on Fair Employment Practice by Exocutive à Order 8802, dated June 25, 1941, as amended by Exocu- tivo Order 8823 of July 18, 1941, and by Executive Order 9346 of May 27, 1943, shall be continued there- under for the period and subjoct to the conditions stated in the National War Agencies Appropriation Act, 1946, (Public Lav. 156, 79th Congress, 1st Session, ap- proved July 17, 1945) As a part of its dutics the Committee shall in- vestigate, make findings and rocommondations, and ro- port to the Prosident, with respect to discrinination in industries engaged in work contributing to the pro- duction of military supplios or to the effectivo transi- tion to a peacetime economy.
