READING of the President's Message has begun in the Senate.
Extreme care must therefore be exercised to avoid premature

TO THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES:
With a view to receiving the advice and consent of the Senate to
ratification, I transmit herewith copies of the Treaties of Peace with
Italy, Rumania, Bulgaria, and Hungary, signed at Paris on February 10,
1947.
I transmit also for the information of the Senate the report made
to me by the Secretary of Stats regarding these Treaties of Peace, and
the summary of each Treaty which accompanied that report.
