PACE, MR. ROBERT man 28 30 March 25, 1952 BARBY ARCHIVES "NATIONAL RECORDS truman AND U.S. SERVICE government My dear Mr. Pace: Mrs. Truman regrets that it will not be possible for her to arrange to see the group of North Carolina students who will be in Washington March twenty-eighth to thirtieth. Since the renovation of the White House has been delayed much longer than an- ticipated, many of the entertainments which would have taken place during the past win- ter have had to be scheduled for the last of March and April. For this ereson, Mrs. Truman's calendar is an unusually full one and it is not possible for her to make any more engagements for the latter part of March and April. She is very sorry that this is the case, as she is always glad to see the groups of students who come to Washington when it is possible for her to do SO. Very sincerely yours, Mrs. J. N.
