MEMORANDUM FOR MRS. TRUMAN:
Miss Rudellat, of the State Department,
and also is accredited to the White
House from the State Department, asks
the following:
Would you be willing to comment on the
gifts given you by the Prime Minister
mrs. telephoned
of Pakistan and Begum Liaquat Ali Khan?
Miss Rudellat spoke to Mr. Ross or Mr.
miss R. "ho".
Ayers to ask if the President would
comment on the gifts they gave him.
These are to be sent out by the Voice of
America of the State Department to
Pakistan.
I imagine that all she wants is some
comment on their beauty, the fabric, etc.
If you are willing to have this done,
shall I check with Mr.Ross?
