My dear Miss Robbins:
Mrs. Truman hopes you will express her
regrets to Mrs. Scurrah that she can not have
the pleasure of greeting her while she is here.
Your note says Monday, April twelfth.
Monday is the fourteenth and there will be a
luncheon at the White House that day, so it
would not be possible for Mrs. Truman to receive
your group between eleven and three of o'clock.
Saturday, the twelfth, Mrs. Truman has a very
crowded schedule, both morning and afternoon.
Mrs. Truman is very sorry that it would not be
possible for her to arrange a time to receive
your group on either of those days.
