P.E.O. apr 12 April 1, 1952 My dear Miss Robbins: Mrs. Truman hopes you will express her regrets to Mrs. Scurrah that she can not have the pleasure of greeting her while she is here. Your note says Monday, April twelfth. Monday is the fourteenth and there will be a luncheon at the White House that day, so it would not be possible for Mrs. Truman to receive your group between eleven and three of o'clock. Saturday, the twelfth, Mrs. Truman has a very crowded schedule, both morning and afternoon. Mrs. Truman is very sorry that it would not be possible for her to arrange a time to receive your group on either of those days. Very sincerely yours, MARY : ARGHIVES AND SERVICE AND LIVER govern WENT Mrs. J. M. Helm Secretary to Mrs. Truman Miss Essie E. Robbins 5317 Sixteenth Street Washington 11, D. C. ia
