My dear Mrs. Risdon:
The invitation from Chapters
0 and P of the P.E.G. Sisterhood which
you and Mrs. Entwisle have extended to
the President and me to attend the
Founders' Day program in the Kennedy
Warren ballroom on Wednesday, January
U.S. NATIONALD TRUMAN THERE
twenty-eighth, is one which we must
most regretfully decline, as we have
an engagement for that evening.
I hope you will say to the
members of these clubs how sorry we
are that we cannot have the pleasure
of being with them that night.
