29 Brier Court Ans. N. P. N. J. 1124 April 2,1976 vel. Dear Mr. Carter, Recently I read a newspaper article that said you were opposed to loaning New York money, I wondered why you said that because the New York Primary is just a few days away, and the people of New York might change their vote from you to George Wallace because you will not help them. I hope they don't do that, but you can not be sure. I was raised to respect honesty, and I guess you were to, and thats probably why you told New York that you would not help them, because you are honest. Thats why I respect you, besides a couple other things. I am in need of some material in which your position is stated. I need your position on wether or not motorcycle riders have to wear helmets, of course, why you will not help New York, wether or not you are for bussing, or maybe volun- tary bussing, and what is your position on the welfare. I would appreciate it if you would send me this information, I would appreciate it very much, thank you. Sincerely Yours Bruce Brockhages Bruce Brochhagen
